Yes, shoes are just about the hardest things to buy. Many parents are just lost when it comes to picking out the right type of footwear, especially for children under the age of five. The expensive branded shoes available in stores are often no better than the cheap ones, so don’t fool yourself into thinking that spending more money equates to get a foot care for your baby.

It is a shocking fact, but many publishers are actually based on the full-sized shoe version. Meaning that the shape is exactly the same in both child and adult versions. This is bad because children’s feet are shaped differently from adults. The big toe of a young child is actually much bigger a ratio if you compare it to a grown-ups foot. Buying a miniature version of an adult shoe for your baby is just asking for foot related problems to happen!

You wanting to be successful is nothing more than adding layers of safety. Financial freedom, just adding layers of safety. None of these things ultimately leads to fulfillment and satisfaction.

So you will find yourself naturally drawn to familiar comfort-style goals, such as a bigger house, a better car, more friends, and more money. And yet, there is only so much you need to maintain your status quo. More money, a bigger house, a fancy car, indefinite travel all represents the unknown, which The Drunk Monkey naturally avoids.

To overcome this fear of achieving your goals, I practice and teach the empowerment process. The first step is awareness. When you see that there is this Drunk Monkey in your head that is steering you away from the fulfillment of your dreams, you can take back your power.

Awareness leads to flexibility. When you see that your mind is not your friend and that it doesnt do what you want, you can begin to choose a new behavior. This new-found flexibility leads you to new options. The options that appear were not available before you became flexible. Before you because flexible you only had one option, which was to do what The Drunk Monkey wanted. Options give you power. Options give you the power of choice. Once you see that your fear is just a biological mechanism that was developed to keep you safe from dangerous situations, you realize that your goals arent dangerous and your fear vanishes. This is the key to change.

The baby won’t stop crying so you automatically think that there is a problem. This is not necessarily the case, with this simple method of deduction, you can ensure an easy solution to numerous discomforts your baby may have. We must all keep in mind though that babies don’t usually cry for no reason.

The human baby is said to be one of the most dependent infants in all of the animal kingdom. Even a newborn monkey can cling to its mother. Without the dedication and patience of a mother, a human baby would simply not survive.

A baby has no other way of communicating with his/her mother than to make a series of somewhat distinguishable sounds. Goo and gaa have come a long way in this day and age as we can understand so much more about how babies communicate with their parents. I personally believe that a baby crying non stop is a last desperate effort to gain a parents attention, for whatever reason. (discomfort, hunger or wind, just to narrow it down a little)

By no means should we trivialize an endless crying episode because I would be the first person to cart my baby off to the doctor if I felt there was nothing that I could do to help my baby or if I felt there was any risk to their health.

10 Ways To Dress When You Find Out You Are Pregnant And Save Your Wallet

So you’re pregnant. You are so happy and elated and you want the world to know. But what ever will you wear?? Here are 10 ways to dress when you find out you are pregnant.

The first tip is to avoid temptation and the urge to rush out and buy everything you think you’ll need for maternity wear, right now. The things you have to choose from will be too big, and you’ll end up noticing later they are too small. Find ways to refurbish the clothes you already have, like buying a specially made maternity belly band to let you keep wearing your favourite jeans. A second tip is to buy transitional clothing from the plus sizes section at a store. It’ll be fashionable and cheap and comfortable until you really need maternity clothing.

A third tip suggests buying from second hand or thrift stores. Well cared for maternity clothing will have all the style of full priced clothing but will cost so much less. Since speciality maternity clothing is only worn in the last trimester, it’s good to pass it around. A fourth tip suggests talking to friends and family, as women often tend to have babies together. Whoever isn’t using theirs may be willing to share with you when it comes to pregnancy clothing.

For a fifth tip, keep your new shape in mind when choosing maternity clothing. Look for A-line cuts that are narrow around the shoulders but flare out at belly level. It’s okay to show this off, so long as you aren’t trying to wear your old non-pregnancy clothing and practically strangling yourself. Be comfortable.

Having a baby can be very painful for some women and you won’t want to go shopping just yet. The pain can last weeks and for some, months. So wear during pregnancy the same clothes you will wear after baby. A nursing bra can double as a maternity bra and will be a very practical early purchase.

Remember that your body is changing. Your tenth tip in 10 ways to dress when you find out you are pregnant is to respect the changes. Your body is producing relaxin now, for example, which loosens your joints so that your baby can pass through your pelvis. Unfortunately relaxin affects other joints too, especially the feet which will spread in pregnancy. Pregnancy is not a good time to wear your favourite heels.
